We love a good city break, and we are lucky enough to work with brands located in some of the most exciting locations in Europe. You would be hard-pressed to find a city that features the abundance of creativity and elegance on offer in Milan.

Design has always played a vital part in being the beating heart of the city. However, there is much more to this beautiful city than just high-end fashion labels. Banal have their HQ sitauted in the very heart of Milan, so we asked founder, Tommasi Pucciono, to give us the scoop on his favourite haunts.

B&B: Where would we find your favourite coffee shop?

La Libreria del mondo offeso in front of the Basilica di San Simpliciano. It’s  an old-fashioned style coffee shop, situated in a libary.

B&B: Favourite live music venue?

COX 18, in Conchetta. It’s predominately a rock & roll kind of place. Live concerts twice a week for €5 and cocktails €3. A must.

B&B: And what about your favourite gallery?

Triennale Cadorna. The best design and photography focused temporary exhibitions in Milan!

B&B: Are there any free activities that you would recommend?

Visit the Branca Factory. One of the most prestigious alcohol brands in Italy. You also have the Milan Public School of Music, where you can enjoy free shows.

B&B: Favourite bar?

The Botanical Club in the Earth of Isola. This is one of the oldest and prettiest areas in the whole of the city.
