Pens

The written word is an increasingly rare thing these days. We don’t mean tapping away on a keyboard – we mean actually putting pen to paper. But the act of writing can be a uniquely creative endeavour. It can elicit thought and release emotion in a way that sitting in front of a computer never can. And it can be a powerful tool too – after all, as English writer and politician Edward Bulwer-Lytton wrote in 1839, ‘The pen is mightier than the sword’.

Taking the time to write is made all the more pleasurable by a fine instrument. So, we’d regard a great pen as a sound investment – one worth keeping permanently in your jacket pocket, ready to capture your next great idea, wherever and whenever inspiration strikes.
